About
Just Sayin Greetings started out selling hand-made greeting cards on Etsy. The kind you print, and get in the postal mail. In our first year, after exactly zero sales, we realized it was official — we had a flop. While our business was circling the toilet bowl, we took a hard look at it.
- Why do most people still overpay for greeting cards at the grocery store when the vast majority suck so much?
- Why does the cost of postage seem inversely proportional to delivery reliability?
- Why is guacamole so expensive at restaurants now?
- Rather than being an after-thought or accessory to the gift, can we reinvent the greeting card?
- Why can't we just go viral?
- What the hell are we going to do with this stupid printer we bought?
From Print to Digital
Texting is the preferred and most frequently used form of communication among Americans younger than 50. So why don't people send greeting cards this way?
What if we made it possible, and super simple?
Just Say It
Traditional greeting cards are usually sickening sweet. But what if you need to give someone clueless a strong hint? You know, someone with annoying habits who just doesn't get it?
Why can't a greeting card be critical or sarcastic or — dare we say — funny?
Let's make humanity slightly better by helping the unaware masses suck a little less.
